The Wholesale Loan Fund is run by a team of experts based at GLE head offices, each with extensive experience in microfinance and business support.

Peter Thackwray
Managing Director, GLE oneLondon

Peter holds overall strategic responsibility for GLE oneLondon and is also an executive director of GLE, and Managing Director of two subsidiary companies; oneLondon Limited and oneLondon Trade and Investment Ltd, and director of GLE’s small equity provider; London Seed Capital.

Peter has a 26-year career in economic and community enterprise development, encompassing the East London Small Business Centre, the London Chamber of Commerce, the London Enterprise Agency, and GLE. His experience includes long-term, senior management experience of the delivery and management of advisory, training, information, marketing and financial services for small and medium-sized businesses. He has also designed and delivered many specialist SME support services with a focus on under-served, disadvantaged and black, Asian and minority ethnic communities. As Managing Director of oneLondon Trade and investment, Peter manages the London International Trade Team (40 SME international trade advisers and support staff) under contract to the UKTI. 

Adam Randon
Wholesale Loan Fund Analyst, GLE oneLondon

As Wholesale Loan Fund Analyst Adam has responsibility for the operational management and administration of the Wholesale loan fund. This includes performance monitoring, system maintenance and managing client relationships. Since graduating with a degree in Banking and Finance Adam has had extensive experience in the financial services sector. He has worked as an analyst for a varied selection of companies and has experience in administration, performance monitoring and customer care. He also has previously been involved in setting up and monitoring the performance of new projects and financial ventures.
